Brows, brows where for art thou brows? Mine are pretty naff; sparse, unequal and bald at the front on one of them so doing something with my brows everyday is a must and not a step that can be skipped. But somedays powdering them on can take a little longer than I actually have (I blame staying up late reading Bloglovin for me hitting snooze). The Blinc Brow Mousse (£15.95)* could be seen as a little bit of a life saver on those later than planned mornings as it’s basically a mascara for your brows to add colour, keep them in place and make the look fuller.
Unfortunately for me this cannot be used alone as I’m not well endowed in the brow department so it is never going to give me a thicker brow like drawing then on will. Saying that though it does make the little brows that I have darker, defined and keeps them in place when used alone. Where this really comes into it’s own is when I pair it with either a brow pencil or brow powder; it cuts down on the amount of effort and product needed to achieve thicker/fuller looking brows. The mascara style wand glides through the brows easily coating them and keeping them in place – although I will say to wipe the wand slightly before use as it can dispense a little too much product. When I first got this I was having a little play around with it and when I went to wipe it off with a damp cloth it wouldn’t budge so the staying power is great; it easily lasts all day when I use it.
This hasn’t been something I reach for everyday due to my lack of brows but I certainly go for it when I know I need my brows to not budge at all, you know those stressful days that have you rubbing your forehead in despair. If unlike me you have the basics of a brow to start with then this is the product for you as a quick swipe is all you will need.
