It’s nearly December, and in honour of that it’s Christmas week on the blog… Or in other words, I got confused and ended up scheduling all my Christmas posts for the month into one week. I wanted to do a few gift guides this year, and ones based around things that I know I would love to receive and are relevant to me and my ‘age’ range. And what better way to kick off a few guides than one with such beautiful stationery?
I absolutely love anything that can give me the air of a proper adult, someone who knows what they are doing and is doing it well. It’s all fakery and I cannot adult, but as least I look like I know what I am doing huh?!
First on my mini gift guide are these beautiful cards from Vera La Lune*, which are priced at £2.75 – they also do prints of the cards too. I love little cards like these as they are a great way to give a special card to someone, or like I do with mine and make a cute little collage/print of them. My best friend is a Friends addict and had all the series on VHS when we were growing up, so the friend quote card will be put in a frame for her for Christmas. A cheap gift but something special to her that I know will make her smile ear to ear.
Now the perfect little gift for someone is organisation, helping them to feel like they are winning at life. The Busy B List Pad (£6.99) is super cute and also something I use all the time. For my blogging bits I tend to use excel to schedule everything, but I like to write a little list during the week of things I have to take pics of at the weekend and this is perfect for that. Little notepads like this are such a cute way of filling a stocking.
Something a little more expensive but so beautiful it’s worth it is the Kate Spade Pencil Pouch from Amara (£25.00)*. I mean just look how drool worthy it is. Amara stock so many beautiful Kate Spade items along with lots of other fab brands, but this puch stole my heart. It also comes with a little pencil sharpener, 2 pencils, a ruler and a rubber so would be perfect teamed with a little notebook, or you could keep the items inside for yourself and pop some makeup in as a little makeup bag and gift.
As a little side note I will be giving away the Amara Kate Space pouch in the middle of December for my birthday, along with some other bits – so keep an eye out for that. Do you give stationery as little gifts?
