One of my most popular posts is one all about how I get my shiz in gear when it comes to blogging – yup, the bloggers best spreadsheet buddy. You might remember my original post on How I Organise My Blog, in which I detailed all the snazzy things I do. Well I was a bit of a newbie wordpress blogger then and didn’t include a free download of it, and just screenshots. Well now I have my act together and know how to do that.
You might be thinking well why should I bother downloading this, I already made her original one?! Well I have updated this, made it a little easier to understand, added new tabs and a whole load of useful tidbits, as well as stolen bits from my Blog Domination planner.
So, if you’re interested in using the spreadsheet feel free to use the below link to download it in either Excel or Google Sheets. You can add or remove whichever tabs are not relevant to you too. Anyways, here’s a rundown of what’s included:
Blog Post Schedule
What’s New? Lately I’ve found it really helpful to be able to look back over what posts I have done recently, without having to search the archives of my blog. So this time round the schedule can be viewed with every month visible, or there’s a tab where it’s just one month at a time.
Not only that but it’s auto coloured, so when you click the status from the drop down it automatically colours that cell to show the stage at a quick glance.
Blog Post Checklist
Everything you need to plan and check off a blog post as you complete them. There’s 3 of these but you can copy and paste as many down as you like, or just clear out the contents when your post is complete.
Sponsored Payment Tracker
Some months can get busy with payments, and I know from past experience I forget what I am due when and end up being a month last chasing stuff. I’ve recently had to write everything down so I know what’s expected to come, when and to which account (PayPal, etc).
Instagram Tags
I tried to include as many niches as I could, but will have missed someones niche I can guarantee. There’s 15 for each niche, including: Blogging, Beauty, Fashion, Lifestyle, Skincare, Photography, Travel, Parenting, Food & Creative.
Stats
Because I am a stat fiend and I know many of you are too. This is split out in to 8 weeks worth of weekly stats, and then monthly for the full year.
Accounting/Finances
I have sent this sheet out to so many blogger friends over the months, as it’s a simple easy way to get a grasp on self-employment tax.
