I can’t believe it’s nearly Christmas already, and yet this is only my 2nd Christmas post – talk about slacking. As I get older and Christmas is less about crazy big gifts, the latest games console and stacks of pressies, I find myself mostly looking forward to the little stocking filler type gifts – am I officially old now? For me, my fave pressies are usually pyjamas, a nice smelly set and some fluffy socks. So, here are some of my picks for perfect stocking fillers – there’s no pyajams, because I basically live in them and they’re never off long enough to take pictures of.
ESPA Star of Night Overnight Hydration Therapy (£12.00)*
I love how cute this little gift is, wrapped perfectly in a star that can be placed as a tree decoration – which would make it a great little Christmas eve treat for someone. The star contains a 15g tub of the Overnight Hydration Therapy, which is perfect for adding some much needed moisture at this cold time of year. I’ll be popping mine on on Christmas eve to wake up all refreshed for the big day, and then again on Christmas night to hopefully counteract all the indulgences of the day.
I have no idea why this picture looks like it was taken with a potato but let’s just roll with it, yeah? Baylis & Harding are one of my faves at Christmas as they do some cute gift sets for any budget, like the Midnight Fig & Pomegranate Bath Time Treats Set (£4.00)*. It’s such a cute stocking filler and it also smells AMAZING. Another budget buy are the L’Occitanne Baubles (£10.20)* which contain 3 miniatures inside the cutest bauble. The miniatures vary depending on which bauble you get, so you can get the perfect one for the recipient.
These 2 gifts are so good that even Percy wanted them. Cats and blog pictures do not mix well, kids. OK, so hand wash and sleepy spray might not seem like conventional stocking fillers, but personally I love gifts like this…
Did somebody say prosecco?! Again, Baylis & Harding have another cute gift, this time a Limited Edition Prosecco Fizz Hand Wash. This smells absolutely amazing, although not quite of prosecco. It has a very clean scent to it, slightly lemony, but also hard to place. This is going to look fab in my mums bathroom, as she has already claimed this as her own. I believe they also do larger sets of this range, so keep an eye out.
If you know of anyone who has trouble sleeping or relaxing, then this is the perfect gift for them. The Coopers Sleepyhead Relaxing Pillow Mist (£12.00) is a blend of Lavender, Frankincense & Chamomile that helps you to wind down. I generally spritz my pillow, pyjamas and around the bed area about 30 minutes before going to bed, that way the mist is fully working and able to help me wind down and drift off – which isn’t easy as I am a terrible sleeper. This would be another great gift to give on Christmas Eve on it’s own or as part of a Eve hamper to help the person relax and enjoy the night.
Erborian is a new brand to me, but I am so glad I found it as the Maskerade Kit (£17.00)* is a brilliant stocking filler for the skincare obsessed, or someone who need to take some more me time. There’s 3 masks inside; Black Scrub for getting rid of those pesky blackheads, excess oil and refining skin. The Bamboo Sheet Mask, to help lock in moisture and finally the Blanc Brightening Mask to help brighten skin and give a radiance boost. I think it’s the perfect gift to introduce someone to a new brand, and also give them a little pamper.
