Now we are in to a whole new year it’s time to dust off the Blog Domination Planner and get your shiz together for 2018. As I have done over the last few years I have made a new spreadsheet to help you keep track of all things blogging. This all stemmed from my original post on How I Organise My Blog, in which I detailed all the snazzy things I do. It was so popular and people kept asking me to make them one that I decided to make one for everyone to download.
You might be thinking well why should I bother downloading this, I already have the one from last year… Well I have updated the dates so you don’t have to, made it a little easier to understand, added new tabs, but still kept it pretty simple. So, if you’re interested in using the spreadsheet feel free to use the below link to download it in either Excel or Google Sheets. You can add or remove whichever tabs are not relevant to you too. However, DO NOT COPY OR PASS THIS OFF AS YOUR OWN WORK – yes I used shouty capitals as I found several versions of my sheet online last year where people had passed it off as their work – except the sheets contain my name as tracking, so ner ner na ner ner.
Blog Post Schedule
What’s New? Lately I’ve found it really helpful to be able to look back over what posts I have done recently, without having to search the archives of my blog. So this time round the schedule can be viewed with every month visible, or there’s a tab where it’s just one month at a time.
Not only that but it’s auto coloured, so when you click the status from the drop down it automatically colours that cell to show the stage at a quick glance.
Blog Post Checklist
Everything you need to plan and check off a blog post as you complete them. There’s 3 of these but you can copy and paste as many down as you like, or just clear out the contents when your post is complete.
I have sent this sheet out to so many blogger friends over the months, as it’s a simple easy way to get a grasp on self-employment tax.
Sponsored Payment Tracker
Some months can get busy with payments, and I know from past experience I forget what I am due when and end up being a month last chasing stuff. I’ve recently had to write everything down so I know what’s expected to come, when and to which account (PayPal, etc).
I tried to include as many niches as I could, but will have missed someones niche I can guarantee. There’s 15 for each niche, including: Blogging, Beauty, Fashion, Lifestyle, Skincare, Photography, Travel, Parenting, Food & Creative.
Because I am a stat fiend and I know many of you are too. This is split out in to 8 weeks worth of weekly stats, and then monthly for the full year.
